Why Get Up?

Are you searching for happiness? Are you looking for fulfillment and purpose? Do you even know who you are? So many women pour themselves into other people hoping to find themselves. Expecting to be loved because they themselves are pouring out love, it leaves you empty handed. Just because you are pouring out the best of you does not mean that you will get the exact same pouring into you.

Knowing who you are goes all the way back to finding out who God is. What does he have to do with you? Well, he made you and formed you before the foundation of the world. He created you and called you by name before the mountains and seas were formed. He placed purpose with in you. And you ask what does he have to do with me? The love of God is shared abroad in our hearts. We walk in the love of God and he shines through us. We praise and glorify his name. That is why we were formed to praise him. Now everyone does praise in different ways and capacities. However, whatever the praise is that is the praise.

So now you know that you are special. You are creatively made or structure like you. We get into relationships after another trying to find "me" and never truly find it because we never search or ask the creator who has made us who we are. We ask the creation who we are and not the creator.

Look up to God for direction and understanding of your purpose? When you fall, you are directed to look up. The falls in our lives refocus our attention, direction, and minds. It shakes us up a little to rethink the choices and understandings that we have assimilated into our minds. The falls come to teach us a lesson. What do we learn while we are down in our fallen state? Is it never to choose? Is it never to look or have a particular thing? Is it never to walk this way again?

Whatever it maybe, the lesson must be learned or the fall will continue to occur because the obstacle is still there. The line is still cracked, the level is still uneven. If you don't know what to avoid you will continue to bump into it. You will continue to fall. Getting up is not the issue. The issue is why am I down here? What led me to this state of where I am? I need to learn the lesson. I need to see the obstacle to know why I am praying for strength.

Sometimes we have to go to the blank state of being and say that we do not know it all. We don't know everything. Have all the answers? Life teaches us answers here and there but to say I know it all would be a lie. I haven't even come to the knowledge of even half of my cup. I am still down to ¼ cup of knowledge. There is some much to learn but while we are down look up. There is an answer waiting.
